Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0136-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Kevin and Michelle Douglas. The project is designed to stabilize the restore existing stream bank that has been experiencing severe undercutting and erosion. The project consists of erosion control, water quality improvements, and the restoration of a 950 ft section of Ward Creek that has been degraded. Methods to be utilized include both mechanical/structural methods such as rock slope protection (riprap) and small amounts of steel sheet pile bulk head, and bioengineered techniques such as slope shaping and vegetative enhancement and restoration.
