Document Description
This project will involve up to 775' total of trenching with heavy equipment from the sewage discharge of the White Oak residences to the connection location of the Las Virgenes Muncipal sewer line. The project will consist of a tie-in from each residence into one sewer mainline connection. The trench will be a min of 18" in depth and have a fall in grade of no less than 2%. An 8" pipe will be laid and fit in the trench with clean-outs every 100' then tested for leaks by holding water at 4 psi for 24 hrs. All trenching will be appropriately backfilled in lifts if necessary with adequate soil moisture content and compaction. All rehab work will be closely coordinated with resource staff. Septic tanks will be backfilled with clean sand or gravel from a local quarry.
