Document Description
The project involves two encroachments on Muir Mill Road: 1) at MP 1.49 replace an existing 18-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) with a 24 in CMP and 2) at MP 1.55 replace an existing 24 in CMP with a 30 in high density polyethylene pipe. Project components include clearing vegetation for construction and future maintenance; removing existing pipes; pouring concrete slurry into excavated trenches; install rock rip rap at outlets and inlets; and erosion control.

The project involves replacing existing structures involving negligible expansion. Some vegetation will be removed during construction. No mature, scenic trees will be affected by this project. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effect of probable future projects.
