Document Description
UC Davis will conduct forest fuel reduction efforts away from water features on approximately 20 acres. Primary techniques will include removal of lower limbs of trees, collection of downed wood (prior logging slash), removal of small trees (2 to 6 inches in diameter) and shrubs, and chipping of all materials removed. Larger trees up to 8 inches diameter may also be removed for unhealthy or hazardous conditions. Prior biological surveys documented that no sensitive/listed species would be affected. No soll disturbance would occur.
