Document Description
UC Davis will utilize existing laboratories and equipment to produce small batches of biodiesel. In addition, the project will involve use of existing anaerobic digester equipment at UC Davis and in Galt. The research project will attempt to use small-scale production efforts to show proof of concrete for the potential future commercial scale production of algal biofuels. The project will utilize food waste and dairy manure as the feedstock for biofuel production.
