The project will upgrade or replace worn out conduit, cables, channel marker lights, pier lights, foghorn systems, radar beacons and white aviation lights. The purpose is to reduce the potential for ships and airplanes to hit these bridges in all weather conditions. Airliners, ships, and travelers on the bridges will benefit.
