Document Description
Advise the Energy Commission on issues associated with the Urban Heat Island Effect, UC Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (UC LBNL) proposes to emplace approximately ten temporary, small-scale weather monitoring devices on commercial/institutional building rooftops within the Los Angeles Air Basin to passively measure temperature and air flow conditions. Measurements will also be taken from exisitng monitoring sources. Written analysis and reporting will follow this data collection.
