Document Description
It has been determined that these items are or may be highly reactive and must be stabilized prior to being transported offsite. The chemicals are expired and are currently being stored inside a storage area at the Hewlett-Packard Company facility located at 1501 Page Mill Road in Palo Alto, CA. The treatment of these items will carried out by CHES and involves the addition of a solvent to the containers to reduce the reactive characteristics of the chemicals. The treatment is anticipated to occur on July 21, 2015 in an exclusion zone at the facility.
