Document Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) will be replacing the existing fire detection system at Kern Valley State Prison (KVSP) housing units. The project includes removing existing cell exhaust duct mounted smoke detectors; installing new aspirating smoke detection system monitoring cells and connecting to existing fire alarm control panels. Existing fire alarm system will be repaired and reprogrammed and teh existing fire alarm system will be reprogrammed to ensure proper operation.
