Document Description
The primary purpose of the Project is to improve fish habitat and provide effective fish passage. The Project includes removing an undersized bridge and 98 feet of concreted stream channel and stone-grouted banks, and installing a 53-foot, wide-span bridge designed to withstand 100-year flow events. Concrete bridge abutments and rock slope protection (RSP) will be installed to support the integrity of the bridge and prevent scour. After the streambed has been re-graded, engineered streambed material (ESM) will be laid along 325 feet of the stream channel to provide a naturalized stream bottom and to facilitate fish passage.
