Document Description
The proposed project involves the acceptance of an 8-year lease from the State of California, Department of Transportation for the use of approx. 56,100 sq. ft. of land located at 3275 Pacific Highway in the City of San Diego, California for surface parking. The existing parking lot which is currently operated as an attended surface parking lot by an existing District Tenant, is contiguous with District premises and is only accessible through the existing District tenant's premises. The proposed lease will allow the District to enter into subleases with existing tenants for the purposes of providing parking for tideland activities and will create an opportunity for incremental revenue to the District. No new development, construction, or increase in the size of the property is proposed or authorized as part of the proposed project.
