Document Description
Reduce fire hazard vegetation on inner-city public land totaling 58 acres. The goal of the project is to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire within the Wildland Urban Interface. The goal will be achieved by reducing the horizontal and vertical continuity of forest fuels, and will allow for effective fire suppression activities as well as offer increased protection to life, property and the natural environment. Average basal area post project will be between 75 and 125 square feet per acre.
