Document Description
The proposed project consists of the restoration of an ephemeral drainage that is tributary to Encinitas Creek. The project is located in the Fair Oaks Valley Mitigation Site Property which is upland preservation mitigation for the La Costa 49 development located west of the Project site. Approx. 61.04 cubic yards of dirt and rock were deposited within the drainage following a failure of a pressurized water line maintained by Olivenhain Municipal Water District in late Dec. 2013. This project proposes to remove the deposited material, return the drainage to its pre-event condition, and use the sediment to restore the upland hillside to its original contours.
