Document Description
The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (District) has made further clarifications to its recently revised Risk Management Policy which addressed the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment's (OEHHA's) revised Risk Assessment Guidance document. This has resulting in the update of District policy APR-1906: Framework for Performing Health Risk Assessments. The clarifications include 1) adjustments to the years of exposure to more accurately reflect the project is allowed with appropriate justification, 2) spatial averaging and adjustments to the 95 percentile breathing rate is not allowed, and 3) comparison to the previous methodology is not required.
