Document Description
Project consists of an interior renovation of existing space of about 4,348 gross sq. ft. (or 2,519 assignable sq. ft.) on the 4th floor of Moffitt and Long Hospitals at the Parnassus Heights campus site. The project would renovate existing storage space into a hybrid operating room, which will allow for a coordinated approach to cardiac procedures formerly provided in two separate areas in the hospital. The proposed project will include new structural steel supports below the 4th floor slab to accommodate loads imposed by new equipment; lead-lined walls for shielding; renovation/upgrade of the HVAC and the utility systems; and hazardous material abatement.
