Document Description
The project proposes to provide realignment and signalization of Gilman Drive just north of the VA Hospital which would accommodate traffic associated with future campus growth. In addition, the realignment would allow the reconfiguration and expansion of parking in existing parking lot 406, and would provide water quality improvements and low water use landscaping consistent with the campus Water and Drought Action Plans. The project would also provide improved access for maintenance to UCSD utility manholes. Finally the project improves pedestrian and bicycle circulation on this stretch of Gilman Drive.
