Document Description
The project is limited to replacement of a discharge valve structure on the downstream face of the Rubicon Dam and necessary temporary dewatering of riverbed beginning at the downstream face of the dam and extending downstream for approximately 25 linear feet. All required discharges to maintain and support downstream fisheries will be piped around the construction site and a temporary coffer dam will be constructed immediately upstream of the water discharge point to prevent backflow of discharged water into the work area. Following construction of the coffer dam any residual water in the work area will be pumped downstream with a small submersible electric pump.
