Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Class1, Sec15301(d) Existing Fac
Reasons for Exemption
This exemption allows for the restoration or rehabilitation of deteriorated or damaged structures, facilities, or mechanical equipment to meet current standards of public health and safety, unless it is determined that the damage was substantial and resulted from an environment hazard such as earthquake, landslide, or flood, and provided that the project involves negligible or no expansion of an existing use. The proposed project is not in an environmentally sensitive area, and none of the exceptions to this exemption are applicable. As the proposed project consists of only minor repairs and maintenance involving no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of this determination, and the necessary updates are not the result of an environmental hazard, the above-noted exemption applies to this project.
