Document Description
The proposed Project consists of a 20 year maintenance agreement for the routine landscaping maintenance at Walnut Canyon Reservoir (Reservoir). The 920 million gallon reservoir supplies Colorado River water to the Anaheim area. The Reservoir has no direct link to the Santa Ana River except under emergency situation; the water could be diverted to the Santa Ana River via the Walnut Canyon Diversion Channel. No work is to occur in the Walnut Canyon Diversion Channel. In addition to the Reservoir a small drainage that collects local run-off is located just east of the Reservoir. The proposed activity includes the trimming of vegetation around the reservoir and the drainage. For the purpose of this Agreement, only the vegetation associated with the drainage is jurisdictional.
