Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0142-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, County of Lake. The project is limited to rehabilitating the existing timber bridge over Seigler Canyon Creek. The existing bridge was constructed of 6-in by 18-in timber stringers which support at 4-in timber deck with a 4-in asphalt-concrete wearing surface. The existing 19-ft 7-in long and 22-ft 3-in wide bridge, will be removed and replaced. The new bridge will consist of a 6-in by 18-in timber girder, a 4-in timber deck, and a 3 to 4-in asphalt wearing surface. A waterproofing membrane will be installed to seal the deck before the asphalt surface is replaced. Tarps will be installed to catch any debris from falling into the creek. The stream channel is composed of mostly of bedrock and boulder and is concrete lined under the existing bridge.
