Document Description
The proposed project includes replacement of 700 Lineal Feet of the B Street Sewer Main between Second Street and the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The existing 18" and 21" vitrified clay pipe (VCP) will be replaced with a 36" PVC pipe. Approximately 4 Sewer manholes within the project will be replaced to accept the new larger diameter pipe. All existing service laterals connecting into the main will also be replaced to the property line. After installation, the new main will be inspected via closed circuit television to insure all lateral connections were made properly and the pipe is free of manufacture and construction defects. The project also includes the realignment of a portion of Howe Drive from its present westerly end to the westerly end of Battery Street. This will require the installation of approximately 650 feet of 24 foot wide roadway.
