Document Description
The project is an amendment to the 2030 Countywide General Plan through an update to the 2001 Clarksburg Area General Plan. As required by Policy CC-3.2 of the 2030 Countywide General Plan, previously adopted by the Board of Supervisors in 2009, all area general plans are required to be retained and updated in the form of new area community plans. The Clarksburg Area Community Plan updates the 2001 Clarksburg General Plan to provide consistency with the Countywide General Plan and the Delta Protection Commission's Land Use and Resource Management Plan. The updated Plan also changes the land use designation at the Old Sugar Mill from Industrial to Commercial General, with a corresponding zone change from Heavy Industrial to General Commercial.
