Document Description
The Madera Valley Water Company proposes to construct, operate and maintain a 1.5 million gallon elevated water storage tank. An elevated storage tank would provide flexibility to the MVWC water supply and distribution system, and allow MVWC operators to determine when the wells would operate to store water for peak water demand usage. With the addition of the gravity storage tank, 14 percent of the water needed to meet peak water demand usage would be pumped during the off-peak energy rate period and 6 percent would be pumped during the partial-peak energy rate period.
