Document Description
The project would expand the existing WRF capacity from 2 million gallons per day to 6 MGD. This would be accomplished by installing additional conventional treatment facilities. This would be accomplished by installing additional conventional treatment facilities, converting biological basins to nitrogen removal only, installing a 2.2 MGD advanced water treatment plant, and upgrading pumps at the off-site influent pump station. New equipment to be constructed includes the influent pump station, a 6 MGD headworks facility, an additional 3.1 MGD of primary clarifier capacity, an additional 4 MGD of secondary clarifier capacity, a 0.9 million gallon flow equalization basin, 2 filters, and solar panels to provide 17% of the energy required for project operation. The current biological aeration basins would be converted to nitrification and denitrification process.
