Document Description
The proposed project involves issuance of a Coastal Development Permit (CDP) for the installation and operation of five new refrigerated racks (or maintenance racks) with an additional 94 outdoor electrical container outlets (as part of the racking system) at Dole's existing leasehold on the Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal (TAMT) in San Diego, California. The additional 94 outlets would increase the total number of outlets on site to 763. The racks would be stacked four containers high and between five and six containers wide and would be sited adjacent to the five existing racks at the Dole leasehold. New vessels will be transporting fresh fruit to the Dole facility whether or not the proposed project is approved and implemented; however, the proposed project would provide more storage area on Dole's existing leasehold.
