Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed a Major Amendment to Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0010-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Riverside County Transportation Commission. The amended Agreement includes a reduction in temporary project impacts. The Project will construct up to two express lanes between PM 36.8 and 51.4; one express lane in each direction from just south of Cajalco Road to El Cerrito Road; two express lanes in each direction from El Cerrito Rd. to north of Ontario Ave; one express lane in each direction from just north of Ontario Ave. to Hidden Valley Pkwy; two express lanes in each direction from Hidden Valley Pkwy to Cantu Galleano Ranch Rd; and one express lane in each direction from Cantu Galleano Ranch Rd. to SR 60. A total of eleven bridges will be widened from project activities, three of which cross areas subject to Fish and Game Code section 1602: Temescal Wash, Arlington Channel, and Santa Ana River.
