Document Description
The project proposal will construct a concrete batch plant with a traditional transit-mix plant ("dry") with a future addition of a central mix plant ("wet"), up to four silos with a maximum height of 65 feet, cement, aggregate, and water weigh hoppers, aggregate bins, and a batch/sales office on a 7.11-acre site adjacent to the Arroyo Simi. Several times per year, the operation will include portable concrete recycling processing. The project as proposed requires an amendment to the Simi Valley Municipal Code to allow structures exceeding 48 feet in height within the GI zone.
