The Coachella Valley Water District is the Lead agency under CEQA, having certified the Final Program EIR for the Eastern Coachella Valley Master Plan Project, SCH# 2015071047. Project consists of two regional plans. The conceptual master plan facilities include over 100 miles of channels and storm drains, approximately 99 acres of debris basins, 11 miles of training levees, dams and modifications to the existing Coachella Valley Stormwater Channel and other facilities.
