Document Description
CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2015-0012-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Joel Shukovsky of French Ranch.
The overall project as proposed is the installation of an agricultural access road along a mountain slope within property located at French Ranch, with topography containing steep ridges and natural slopes that range from 35 percent to approximately 80 percent. The purpose of the project is to provide the land owner with improved access to his property and also an alternate escape route in the event that wildlife or any other emergency eliminates the primary access from Hidden Valley Road. As it directly pertains to CDFW streambed jurisdiction, the project is considered to be the installation of a culvert where the proposed access route crosses an ephemeral drainage, which is approximately the midpoint of the length of the proposed access route. Types of equipment proposed for use during the project include heavy equipment normally associated with the scale of the proposed project.
