Document Description
The project site used to be an active oil and gas production facility from around 1944 through 1994. As many as 15 oil/gas wells were located in the middle portion of the project site. There is one well site in the northern portion. The southern portion of the project site included the clay pit associated with the off-site brick works, two oil/gas wells, and four aboveground storage tanks inside a containment structure. All wells have been capped. The former clay pit was previously backfilled with mud, concrete and bricks, vegetation, and other debris. The project site was also used to store clean topsoil for the City; the northern portion of the site is covered by several feet of unconsolidated fill material.
