Document Description
The proposal is to expand the existing geothermal dual-flash and binary facility by adding one additional Ormat Energy Converter (OEC 14) adding a gross 16 megawatts to the existing facility and modify one of the existing Gould 1 Ormat Energy Converters (OEC 12). Construction will take approximately eight weeks with an estimated 50-60 workers for excavation and pouring of the slab foundation for the new OEC that will utilize brine from the existing facilities via existing pipelines, except for piping modifications to connect the new OEC 14 to the Gould 1 OEC 12.
