Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District is proposing to construct and operate the San Jacinto Valley Enhanced Recharge and Recovery Program. The Proposed Project would aid in supplementing current and future water supplies by recharging imported water and local supplies (such as storm water) in the local groundwater basin. Supplies would be used for extraction seasonally and during dry periods, such as a prolonged drought and for conjunctive use. Water supplies from the bank would be for use within the District's service area. Water from the bank could also made available to the District's sub-agencies or other regional water agencies through an exchange, with no physical export of local supplies.
