Document Description
The purpose of the project is to improve the pedestrian connection between the Middletown Trolley Station and the planned airport shuttle stop, which will be located along the recently constructed airport inner ring road at Palm Street and Pacific Coast Highway. The shuttle is expected to be in service at the beginning of 2016. Pedestrian improvements would consist of widened sidewalks, an ADA-accessible ramp, and a new pedestrian crosswalk. Currently, the pedestrian access is narrow, in poor repair, and has an excessive slope, which provides inadequate ADA access.
