Document Description
Due to erosion, the Yucca Point trail at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve will be realigned in from the bluff edge. The new trail will follow the former alignment where feasible, avoiding perennial shrubs. The deteriorated peeler pole fence will be replaced with eye-rod trail delineators as symbolic fencing and benches will be added. The former trail footprint and volunteer trails will be re-vegetated with plants specified by the environmental scientist and locations approved by the archaeological staff. This project will protect public health and safety.
