Install renewable-based microgrid at the John Muir Medical Center. The microgrid consists of a 250kW rooftop and carport canopy photovoltaic system, 250 kW power conditioner, 1 MWh battery energy storage, and a microgrid controller. The microgrid will support critical hospital systems by providing at least 3 hours of power during a utility outage and participating in automated demand response to reduce electrical demand.
