Document Description
The proposed project consists of laboratory development and testing of smart inverters, and subsequent field testing of those smart inverters, i.e., installation of small smart inverters approx. 17.10Wx11.60Hx8.40D and a weight of 71 lbs. on existing residential dwellings and data collection on smart inverter performance. The main objective is to evaluate advanced inverter functionality with the goal of enabling higher penetration levels of photovoltaic systems on the CA distribution systems.
