Document Description
Project includes removal and replacement of old wiring and equipment, with minor modifications for installation of new fire suppression and detection systems and other life safety improvements, at various Oroville Dam Complex facilities within DWR's Oroville Field Division of the State Water Project. The work is needed to reconstruct, upgrade, and restore existing facilities for modernized safety of operations and ease of maintenance. This will not result in any expansion of existing facilities or operations. Improvements to these State Water Project facilities provide benefits to the people of the CA by improving operational safety and efficiency in support of the statewide transport and distribution of water, in accordance with the mission of DWR.
