Document Description
The proposed project consists of general tenant improvement, path of travel upgrades and installation of new ADA compliant signage. Specifically, three new hearings rooms with new full height walls, painting, replacement of carpet, new doors, upgrade of lighting system and HVAC, new telecommunication room, installation of new ADA compliance signage. Path of travel upgrades include ADA compliance pertaining to: women's restroom doors, restroom signage at the men's and women's restroom, and drinking fountain and related work. The project will improve access to persons with disabilities in the Van Nuys State building for compliance with the 2010 ADA and 2013 CA building Code (CBC) Standards. The project will comply with local ordinances, rules and regulations. The Project will improve accessibility and safety for State employees and the public.
