Document Description
The proposed project will involve installation 1,500 feet of coaxial cable for a surveillance system at the Eel River Conservation Camp on state property. The cable and associated hardware will be buried in a trench 12 inches wide and 24 inches deep. Cameras will be mounted on pre-fabricated metal poles installed in the trench. The trench will be constructed using a portable trencher, hand tools, and a small tractor. A large portion of the newly constructed trench will be located adjacent to existing roads. During the work required to install cable and poles, less than one acre of soil will be disrupted. Disrupted areas will be backfilled to original grade, which will prevent any change in drainage pattern.
