Project involves three encroachments on Airport Road: 1) after-the-fact authorization for work on an Unnamed Tributary at mile post 0.534 involving the replacement of a 12-inch elliptical corrugated metal pipe (CMP) with a 18 inch high density polyethylene pipe (HDPP), 2) on Virgin Creek, replace an existing 24 inch CMP at mile post 0.894 that serves as an overflow with a 24 inch HDPP, and 3) after the fact authorization for work on an Unnamed Tributary at mile post 1.108 involving the replacement of a 12 inch elliptical CMP with a 12 inch HDPP. Project components include clearing vegetation for construction and future maintenance, removing existing pipes, installing temporary water bypasses, pouring concrete slurry into excavated trenches and erosion control.
