Document Description
Caltrans proposes a project using State and Local funds to improve pedestrian safety at the intersection of U.S. Highway 97 and Lincoln Avenue in the City of Weed. The project work will include installation of additional warning beacons at the crosswalk, upgrade of existing ADA ramp on the east side of the intersection, and replacement of the existing intersection lighting. Additionally, a concrete slab is to be installed at grade on the west side of the crosswalk to provide an all-weather surface for electrical equipment and pedestrians. The purpose of the project is to provide a safer highway crossing for pedestrians. The existing advance warning beacons for the pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue flash.
