This project funds OHV non-law enforcement seasonal park rangers, medical supplies, truck rentals, rescue sand rail maintenance, and UTV maintenance, which assists in providing emergency medical services to visitors in the Barstow Resource Area's five open OHV riding areas (Dumont Dunes, El Mirage, Johnson Valley, Rasor, and Stoddard Valley) with a particular emphasis on Dumont Dunes, El Mirage during five holiday weekends. The OHV seasonal park ranger duties include, but are not limited to, patrol, emergency medical services/rescue, and visitor contacts.
