Document Description
Project will develop and test innovative windows, curtain walls, facade ventilation systems, and daylight redirecting systems in existing laboratory facility for purposes of gathering data to assess energy performance (only computer-based research and lab research). This research includes analysis of laboratory results, market and cost analysis, alternative designs, benchmarking and life cycle cost analysis, computer simulations, and modeling. This conventional small-scale testing will occur in passive, specifically-designed testing rooms and buildings that require no modification or conversion of facility.
