Document Description
Reclamation District 2122 (District) proposes to place new fill material on the levee crown to maintain levee freeboard to meet long term objective of a sustainable HMP design standard along the east levee of Winter Island. This project extends from station 17+00 to 32+00 and station 40+00 to 68+00. The 4,000 tons of imported fill material will be brought in by crane barge, and the work sites will be prepared by district equipment. All work shall be conducted above the mean high water mark (MHW) during the appropriate waterside work windows, and no fill or quarry stone will be placed below the MHW. No habitat will be disturbed or removed. SAA 1600-2015-0118-3.
