Document Description
CDFW proposes to maintain and improve the montane riparian and aspen habitat types along By Day Creek by removing young encroaching conifer saplings and weed species along a 0.9 mile reach of By Day Creek occurring on the CDFW owned Ecological Reserve. The work will be done by hand with loppers and hand tools. The purpose of this project is to improve wildlife habitat quality, water availability, and forest health on the Ecological Reserve which supports a population of federally endangered Lahontan Cutthroat Trout.
