Document Description
Cal Waste obtained a CUP in July, 2012 from the City of Galt to operate a MMRF with a conditional maximum capacity of 150 tons per day. Cal Waste sought approval to increase capacity of recycling materials to 480 tons per day. Cal Waste also sought approval to operate a 150 ton per day transfer station from the site. The initial study and negative declaration (IS/ND) evaluated whether the project operations would result in adverse impacts to the environment. The IS/ND determined that the project would not result in any potentially significant impacts and that mitigation measures would not be required.
