Document Description
TRLIA is making a minor addition to the Western Pacific Interceptor 200-Year Standard Project. A security fence would be installed along a portion of the WPIC West Levee. This fence is being incorporated into the project to exclude cattle from the improved levee. Cattle ranching occurs along this portion of the West Levee, and on several occasions, cattle have crossed the WPIC and grazed on the levee. During wet conditions, this cattle grazing damages the levee and requires additional levee maintenance to repair the damage.
