TRLIA is proposing to improve the Western Pacific Interceptor Canal West Levee to meet the DWR Urban Levee Design Criteria for 200-year flood protection. The project would use cutoff walls drained berms, a stability berm, and landside fill to correct geotechnical deficiencies related to seepage and slope stability along approx. 2 miles of the West Levee. A landside access road would also be constructed along approx. 3.3 miles of the levee for future operations and maintenance activities. The project area is located in southern Yuba County, south fo the town of Olivehurst and immediately east of SR 70.
