Document Description
SPMUD is proposing to replace its Foothill Trunk line, a 12-inch-diameter gravity sewer pipeline, with a new 24-inch-diameter pipeline in Rocklin, Placer County. The new pipeline would be approximately 2,300 feet long and would be installed either in the same alignment as or parallel to the existing pipeline or along a new alignment at depths of 5-17 feet below the ground surface. A temporary dam would be placed in Aguilar Creek to allow pipeline installation beneath a ponded area of the creek. Pipeline would be installed using primarily open-cut construction. Standard BMPs, dust control, and other measures would be implemented during construction.
