Document Description
CDFW has executed CA Endangered Species Act Incidental Take Permit No. 2081-2016-006-02, pursuant to section 2081 (b) of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Rancho Seco Solar, LLC.
The project involves the construction of a 10-MW alternating current (ac) Photovoltaic (PV) solar power facility. Proposed infrastructure improvements included energy-related facilities and road improvements. Construction-related activities are below. The total project area encompasses 75-acres, witht he solar facility, occupying approx. 65-acres. Project features include PV solar power plant infrastructure, a 45-foot long overhead sub-transmission line and interconnection equipment, a substation, and switchgear. Approx. 10-acres will be temporarily used for construction staging and temporary construction office trailers. The Project will not result in impacts to CA tiger salamander habitat; the Project will not permanently remove and CA tiger salamander habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of CA tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under CESA.
